Obita Calvin is a finalist law student at Makerere University, Kampala, with a passion for legal writing and advocacy. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the prestigious Makerere Law Journal and Lawpoint Uganda, where he contributes to shaping thought-provoking and impactful legal discourse.
In addition to his editorial work, Calvin is the Treasurer of a notable organization, demonstrating strong leadership and financial management skills. He is also an entrepreneur, committed to driving innovative solutions within the legal and business sectors.
As a dedicated Human Rights Defender, Calvin advocates for justice and equality while championing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a means to promote efficient and amicable conflict resolution. His multifaceted expertise positions him as an emerging leader in Uganda's legal community.
